Email - How to Get Header Information

In Office 365 Outlook client you can show the full message header of an email with the following procedure:
  1. Double click on the email message so that it is opened in its own window. 
  2. On the Message tab, in the Options section there is a little button with an arrow in it. Click on it and you have the message options menu with the internet headers in the bottom section. 
  3. This will bring up the Message Options window. The last component of this is the Internet Headers. 
  4. Right-click inside the headers and choose Select ALL
  5. Select Copy to copy the highlighted content, then paste it to any editor (e.g. MS Word, Notepad, WordPad, etc).
 

In Office 365 Outlook Web App (OWA) you can show the full message header of an email with the following procedure:

  1. Login your O365 account with Office 365 OWA.
  2. Select the email that you want to show its full message header. Click More actions icon.
  3. Select view message details.

  4. Right click mouse and click Select all.

  5. Select Copy to copy the highlighted content, then paste it to any editor (e.g. MS Word, Notepad, WordPad, etc).
